Sister M. Caterina Esselen, OLM, is a member of the Congregation of the
Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy to which Saint Faustina belonged. Its
mission, among others, is to spread devotion to the Divine Mercy.
Sister Caterina joined the sisters’ active-contemplative community in
Boston, MA, in 1995. She has been proclaiming the message of Divine
Mercy at conferences, in parishes and prisons. Sister Caterina is also the
Vocation Directress and Mistress of Formation for the Sisters of Our

The title for this blog is taken from Acts 1:8, "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses... to the end of the earth."
